PHILOSOPHY
Above All Photography, Ltd. was founded in 1993 by president Jay R. Grumme. A photographer and commercial pilot for over 30 years, Jay has the experience and professionalism to deliver quality products. Jay's skills provide a full-service photography and image output bureau. As a team, we bring the best aerial products to the midwest. Professional photography, timely output, and no outsourcing guarantees 100% customer satisfaction.
EQUIPMENT
High definition aerial video is filmed with a Panasonic AJ-HDX900 broadcast-quality camera. The camera is mounted to a three-axis gyro mount with four Kenyon Labs K-6 gyros, spinning at an incredible 23,000 RPM to stabilize the camera in flight. We utilize either a Cessna 206 Stationair airplane or a Robinson R-44 Raven helicopter as our aerial video platform, allowing us to obtain everything from stunning close-ups to breathtaking high-altitude shots.
For post-processing, we utilize Adobe Premiere CS3 in concert with Matrox Axio HD capture hardware. The Axio HD supports 10-bit video editing and capture, allowing us to attain the maximum quality from our original footage. Our digital editing staff has been trained by an Adobe certified instructor.
